The Home Support Program is a fund that benefits families and individuals dealing with particular hardships or a situational crisis.
In the fall of 2019, the Gatineau Health Foundation helped the CISSS de l’Outaouais and its Centre de formation en santé mentale de l’Outaouais (CFSMO) organize their 13th Mental Health Conference. The event, aimed at professionals from the CISSS de l’Outaouais and other stakeholders like community organizations, students and professionals in private practice, welcomed 18 renowned speakers and 375 participants.
The Conference gave the CISSSO an opportunity to exercise community-wide leadership by presenting stakeholders with new intervention strategies and clinical tools, and advocating for continuous improvement and training in a supportive and knowledge-sharing environment. Topics covered included:
Participants gained valuable knowledge that can be applied in their practice for the benefit of patients and the whole community.
