PacVision - Medication bag verification devices

The pharmacies of the Gatineau and Hull hospitals and the CHSLD Lionel-Émond nursing home serve more than 200 patients a day each.

Considering the high volume of transactions in these establishments, the CISSS de l’Outaouais would like to equip each of the pharmacies with PacVision units, which are medication bag verification devices based on pill recognition technology that can significantly enhance quality control and patient safety.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE, RIGHT HERE AT HOME!

The PacVision verification units would offer the following advantages to pharmacies and patients:

Unaffected by distractions and fatigue, these systems ensure consistent, fast and safe bag verification, with a margin of error below 2%.

Automation minimizes the pharmacist’s involvement, freeing him to counsel more patients and perform other tasks.
