La Pietà is a long-term care facility housing over 150 people. These improvements will allow residents to enjoy some outdoors rest, socializing and gardening activities as a way to maintain their autonomy.
Bon Séjour Long-Term Care Home used $20,000 in funding from Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais to buy a silent system. A system that lets residents discreetly call for assistance. As the constant sound of buzzers can be stressful and unpleasant for both residents and staff the new system has vastly improved the facility’s living and work environment.
