I have been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Outaouais Health Foundation since 2015. Since I arrived, we have doubled our philanthropic revenue and begun an ambitious strategic shift, including the launch of a comprehensive campaign to raise $50 million. It is the largest health philanthropy campaign in the history of the region, with the goal of transforming our health and social services network for the long term.

A graduate in recreation intervention techniques, I began my career in 1999 in Quebec’s youth centre network. In 2006, I founded Moisson Outaouais, a regional food bank that I developed with a long-term, structured vision. I also had the honour of chairing Food Banks Quebec and serving on the board of Food Banks Canada. I later led the development office at Saint Paul University, then the Collège La Cité Foundation, before joining the Outaouais Health Foundation.

I am also involved as chair of the board of Habitations de l’Outaouais métropolitain, and I sit on the Ordre de Gatineau jury. A father of five, I remain deeply committed to my community and motivated by the idea of building a fairer, more caring and healthier Outaouais.

A native of the Outaouais, I have always wanted to make a concrete contribution to my community. Today, I have the privilege of serving as Deputy President and Chief Executive Officer of the Outaouais Health Foundation, a role that lets me contribute directly to the evolution of our organization and to its ambitions for the health of our region. Working closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer and the leadership team, I help turn the Foundation’s strategic directions into concrete action. My role is to bring a cross-cutting view of the organization, encourage collaboration between sectors, and make sure our structures, practices and ways of working keep pace with our growth. My day-to-day work is guided by a clear intention: to structure, mobilize and innovate so our teams can fully carry out our mission. I draw in particular on my expertise in organizational management, human resources and innovation to build a high-performing, human and agile environment, where talent can thrive and every sector can fully contribute to the Foundation’s ambitions. What motivates me most is seeing ideas come to life, teams grow, and collective projects create a tangible impact for our community. Collaboration, rigour, continuous improvement and the quality of human relationships remain at the heart of my approach. Outside of work, I am deeply passionate about health and well-being. I find my balance in movement — whether through running, training, or simply making the most of time with my family. For me, the energy we invest in collective well-being begins with what we cultivate every day.

A native of the Outaouais, where I started my family and have always lived, I feel a deep attachment to my community. For more than 30 years I have devoted myself to philanthropy with passion, and since 2020 I have put my heart, my experience and my energy at the service of the Outaouais Health Foundation. Every day I rely on values that move me deeply: authenticity, respect, efficiency, openness, humour and resilience.

I have the privilege of accompanying donors as they realize their philanthropic dreams and ambitions, and of showing them sincere gratitude for their generosity. Through a collaborative approach, I aim to raise the profile of the Foundation’s mission and strengthen the essential links between donors and the needs of our sole beneficiary: the CISSS de l’Outaouais.

I place great importance on teamwork and on the richness of meaningful relationships, both in my professional life and in my personal life. Conversations and time shared with my family, my friends, my colleagues, donors and partners — all inspiring and positive people — fuel my daily commitment to making a difference.

Away from work, I find my balance and my happiness in game nights with family or friends, hiking or cycling, and lively games of pickleball. In winter I put on my snowshoes; throughout the year I enjoy cultural activities and sessions on my treadmill.

Since June 2019, I have put my skills at the service of the Outaouais Health Foundation’s mission. With more than 22 years of experience in internal audit, management control and accounting, I have developed expertise in financial reporting, budget preparation, financial statements and internal control.

I hold a graduate diploma (DESS) in accounting from the Université du Québec en Outaouais, and I am currently a candidate for the CPA designation.

I believe deeply that health is an essential pillar of collective well-being. That conviction leads me, day after day, to invest myself with rigour, integrity and commitment in support of a mission that resonates with my human and community values.

I arrived in Canada with a sincere desire to build a meaningful life, hoping to fully join my new community while contributing, in my own way, to a fairer and more caring world. That dream took on a deeply meaningful direction a year later, when I had the opportunity to join the finance department of the Outaouais Health Foundation.

This position, well beyond its administrative responsibilities, quickly became a personal mission. I draw an intimate motivation from it, shaped by a defining ordeal in my life: the loss of someone very dear to me, taken by cancer. That wound, still raw, pushed me to look for meaning in the pain and to turn grief into commitment. Through my work, I carry on a quiet fight against the illness that took a part of me.

Every day, I work so that every donation received is used with rigour, transparency and efficiency, in order to support health care in our region. What moves me deeply is knowing that, behind the scenes, my role contributes in a concrete way to improving patients’ lives, supporting health professionals, and building a more human and accessible system for everyone.

Today, I am proud to be part of an organization whose values resonate with my own. I am driven by the conviction that every gesture, however discreet, can make a difference. And it is that conviction that pushes me, day after day, to give the best of myself for a healthier Outaouais.

A mother first and foremost, a nurse by profession, and deeply committed to her community.

She also led the fundraising activities of the Mathieu-Froment-Savoie Foundation for four years, an experience that strengthened her expertise in philanthropy, mobilization and events. She continues her path today at the Outaouais Health Foundation, wanting to help raise the organization’s profile while learning from the expertise of a committed and inspiring team.

My experience in business development, partnerships, events and marketing shapes the way I approach philanthropy. I want to create, with businesses in the region, initiatives aligned with their values and with the Foundation’s mission. For me, a partnership rests above all on a quality relationship and is not limited to a transaction.

My role at the Foundation lets me bring my values and my convictions together, while accompanying local businesses as they leave their philanthropic mark and help build a healthier community.

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of working in an organization that supports people in need and actively helps improve the quality of life in my community. Today I am living that dream at the Outaouais Health Foundation, where my role as Coordinator of Philanthropic Programs lets me build genuine relationships with our community, bring human fundraising campaigns to life, and concretely support the improvement of health care in our region.

I hold a diploma in business administration (management) and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, with a strong grounding in social work and sociology. I combine a structured approach with a fine understanding of human dynamics, which lets me bring together strategic thinking and great sensitivity in my philanthropy work.

What drives me every day is seeing how a simple gesture can make a big difference. Behind every donation there is a story, an intention, an outstretched hand — and it is a privilege for me to contribute to that chain of solidarity.

For me, community engagement is a powerful force that I strive to nurture with kindness, creativity and professionalism.

Outside of work, I like to set off on an adventure or simply share simple moments with the people close to me, because that is where I draw the energy to keep giving myself fully.

I pursue this commitment with passion and determination, convinced that every action, however small, helps build a more caring and healthier community.

I am Coordinator of Philanthropic Programs at the Outaouais Health Foundation. Every day I put my energy, my sensitivity and my commitment at the service of a mission that touches me deeply: helping to improve health care in my community.

My professional path is closely tied to my personal story. I went through the most defining ordeal of my life: the loss of my baby at birth. That devastating experience transformed my view of the world and pushed me to find a way to give back, to help, and to invest myself where the human being must be at the centre of everything. That search for meaning naturally led me to philanthropy, a field that has inspired and called to me for as long as I can remember.

Alongside my personal journey, I developed a strong passion for marketing and innovation, convinced that creativity and strategy can amplify social impact. I hold a master’s degree in innovation management and an MBA in digital marketing, two qualifications that now enrich the way I approach philanthropy, mobilize donors and create initiatives that resonate with the community.

I like to bring people together, listen and build genuine relationships, convinced that every act of generosity can truly transform the lives of patients, families and care staff.

Driven by resilience, compassion and the desire to have an impact, I invest myself fully in my mission. For me, contributing to the improvement of the health network is not only a professional goal: it is a way of turning personal pain into strength, action and hope for others.

I am happy to be part of this wonderful Outaouais Health Foundation team as an Administrative Services Technician. For a long time I hoped for the chance to work in a foundation, because its mission is deeply aligned with my professional and personal values.

With more than 25 years of experience in management, administrative management, human resources and payroll, mainly in health and real estate, I have developed solid expertise centred on rigour, efficiency and team development. I firmly believe in cooperation, innovation and the importance of the human factor in organizational success.

Having myself had the chance to benefit from a foundation’s support, I am infinitely grateful. That help did much more than support us: it transformed our life. This personal experience lets me understand in a concrete way the essential impact foundations have on families and in society.

Today, I am proud to contribute, in my turn, to a mission — that of the Outaouais Health Foundation — which makes a real difference in people’s lives.
