Transitional housing units

Thanks to the Foundation’s financial support, the Pierre-Janet Hospital has been able to develop 15 transitional housing units with intensive supervision.

The adult residents living there are dealing with serious mental disorders and can benefit from care, treatment, rehabilitation and intensive supervision thanks to onsite, 24/7 services offered with a view to social integration.

Our contribution made it possible to fully furnish the housing units and provide the necessary equipment for the staff.

13th Mental Health Conference

In the fall of 2019, the Gatineau Health Foundation helped the CISSS de l’Outaouais and its Centre de formation en santé mentale de l’Outaouais (CFSMO) organize their 13th Mental Health Conference.

Fund for Autism

Thanks to Mr. Dormani’s donation, the Foundation has set up a fund to help families with children with an autism spectrum disorder.
