In order to support our partners at the CISSS de l’Outaouais in their efforts to maximize vaccination coverage in the Outaouais, the Gatineau Health Foundation worked closely with various companies in the region to encourage them to make contributions.
The Vaccibus, a mobile vaccination centre, was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of Evolugen, Desjardins and Kruger Products, which agreed to make financial contributions of $50,000, $25,000 and $15,000 respectively, covering almost all the costs associated with this initiative. Desjardins enhanced its contribution by lending some of their human resources to actively support the vaccination.
