On July 26, the organizing committee of the Rêves de Monique campaign was pleased to celebrate the long-awaited arrival of young Gatineau resident Alex Guidon, who returned from a 3,500 km bike ride to raise money for the fight against cancer. A supporter of the Rêves de Monique campaign for several years, Alex decided this year to take on a cycling challenge with the goal of raising $10,000 for the cause. It was with great pride and excitement that Alex’s family and friends, the Rêves de Monique committee, the Mayor of Gatineau and MP Steven MacKinnon welcomed him after his 45-day expedition across Canada.

Thanks to his extraordinary commitment and determination, Alex and his team had the pleasure of donating $10,270 to the Rêves de Monique campaign.
