The acquisition of three electric exercise pedals for the Outaouais’s CHSLD nursing homes will provide staff with an additional tool to strengthen the users’ leg muscles and improve their mobility.

Currently, these four CHSLDs are not equipped to computerize the requests sent to the laboratory.

Interior design that feels like home can help create a stimulating and pleasant living environment and relieve loneliness by encouraging users to gather in common areas.

Homelike Bathroom Furnishings
The CHSLD Ernest-Brisson wanted to improve the decoration of a bathing room for residents with cognitive disorders, a clientele for whom bath time can sometimes be stressful.
Revision of the food offer and purchase of moulds for the preparation of textured food preparation
Funding provided by the Foundation was instrumental in the purchase of vital equipment for this project, such as rethermalizer carts for meal distribution, a cooling chamber, quick freezers and other equipment for the preparation of meals at the production centre.
Development of the Outer Courtyard at the Pietà Nursing Home
La Pietà is a long-term care facility housing over 150 people. These improvements will allow residents to enjoy some outdoors rest, socializing and gardening activities as a way to maintain their autonomy.
